ACCOUNT
Q: Do I need an account to use Open Runs?
A: Yes. Creating an account lets you create runs, lock into events, manage your profile, and keep track of your activity.
Q: Can I edit my profile?
A: Yes. You can update your profile information at any time from your Profile page.

RUNS
Q: How do I create a run?
A: Tap Create Run, enter the required details, select your location, date, time, and sport, then publish your run.
Q: Can I edit my run after creating it?
A: Yes. Hosts can edit their runs any time before the run has been completed or canceled.
Q: Can I delete a run?
A: In Version 1, hosts can cancel a run before it has been completed. Canceled runs are removed from active searches and upcoming runs.
Q: What happens when a run is canceled?
A: The run is marked as canceled and is removed from active searches and upcoming runs.
Q: What happens when a run is completed?
A: Once the host marks the run as complete, it moves to the Past section, and participants become eligible to receive badges.

LOCK IN
Q: What does "Lock In" mean?
A: Locking in lets the host know that you plan to attend the run.
Q: Can I lock into a run more than once?
A: No. Open Runs prevents duplicate lock-ins.
Q: Can I withdraw after locking in?
A: Yes. You can withdraw from an upcoming run any time before the run ends.

HOSTING
Q: Can anyone host a run?
A: Yes. Every registered user can create and host runs.
Q: Can the host lock into their own run?
A: No. Hosts are automatically considered participants in their own run and do not need to lock in.

BADGES
Q: How do I award a badge to another player?
A: The host must first mark the run as complete. Once the run is completed, the host can award badges to participants who locked into that run.
Q: Who can receive a badge?
A: Only participants who locked into the completed run are eligible to receive a badge.
Q: Why can't I award a badge yet?
A: Badge awarding is only available after the host marks the run as complete. If the run is still listed as Upcoming, badges cannot be awarded.

SEARCH & DISCOVERY
Q: How do I search for runs in a city?
A: Enter the city name on the Search page to find active runs in that area.
Q: Why can't I find a past run when searching?
A: Search only displays active upcoming runs that are available to join.
Q: Why can't I see canceled runs?
A: Canceled runs are hidden from public search results.

GENERAL
Q: Is Open Runs free?
A: Yes. Version 1 is completely free to use.
Q: What sports are supported?
A: Open Runs currently supports Basketball, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Tennis, Boxing, and MMA. More sports may be added in future updates.
Q: Is Open Runs available on iPhone and Android?
A: Open Runs will launch on the Apple App Store first. The Android version is expected to follow shortly afterward on the Google Play Store.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Q: Does Open Runs support Dark Mode?
A: Open Runs is currently optimized for Light Mode. Some text and screen elements may not display correctly when your device is using Dark Mode. For the best experience, switch your device to Light Mode while using the app.
Q: Why isn't my city showing up in Search?
A: Make sure you're entering the city name using the correct capitalization. The Search page is currently case-sensitive, so entering a city in all lowercase or all uppercase may not return results.
